Oh, please.... The "system" is democracy--not his legal case! And if he believed in it--democracy--instead of his "legal case," he would have accepted Gore's offer and let the chips fall where they may... Funny, I thought Republicans were critical of this proliferation of litigation... Guess that depends on the day, huh? ___________________ Well, to be fair, Bush thought he could win this on the merits of his legal case. I think that is why he initially refused to negotiate. Poor guy had too much faith in the system.
