Jemuel--Gore DID ask for a statewide manual recount, but when Bush didn't accept--great believer in democracy that he apparently is--Gore asked for a recount in 4 counties where he thought he might pick up the most votes. Had Bush joined him in asking for the recount, you're right--all of this would probably be over... __________________________ He should have asked for a statewide manual recount and all this crap probably with be all over but instead asked only for the 4 counties he expected to pick up more votes. That was the political blunder he must live with........
