Scummy, the two parties had one representative each observing the count. In West Palm if there was an objection by the democrat the objection was upheld 2 to 1 by the canvassing board. If the Republican objected the objection was denied 2 to 1 by the canvassing board. Not surprisingly, the canvassing board was made up of 2 democrats and 1 Republican.

Senator Whitman of New Jersey was an observer in Broward county and she reported the recounts to be a farce with standards constantly being changed in a deliberate attempt to increase Gore's totals.

Deceit and treachery are what the democrats have been about in Florida since before the election, own up to it.
