If you talked on the record in front of the world for a living I would be able to shred you to pieces on an obscure message board with out of context sound bites.

Touchy touchy. I'm shakin' in me boots and while I'm sure Gee W Bee is sleeping a bit better knowing KB is out there defending his intelligence, not everyone in the world seems to agree with your assessment of GWB...

"I am glad the ongoing US debacle has given me the opportunity to see what Bush is really about. An ignorant manipulated mannequin, who is devoid of any original meaningful thought.

God bless America....you are in our prayers!."

So go ahead Buck-o, bust out all those Gore gems jamming up your hard drive. But before you do, you may want to review this stunning list to get a better idea as to exactly what you're gonna be up against...

slate.msn.com

Can't you just wait to see who the really sore losers are going to be? And can't you picture Tom DeLay and Dick Armey gettin' loose down in the bullpen for some dat good ol' country hardball?

I thought you'd be interested in this. I recently went to my RoadRunner network status page (on dialup) to see if they said anything about why my cable was down. Amazingly they did. I guess they expect everyone to have a dial up backup...

Anyway- I found this there too:

With the recent acquisition of a new DS3 Internet Circuit earlier in the month, and the continuing circuit traffic balancing done by Road Runner's Network Engineers, bandwidth to the mainland is currently stabilized.

A DS3? DS3? They added a 45Mbps link to "stabilize" the connection between the entire state and *everything* else on the internet?

@home runs an OC-48 (2.5Gbps) to *every* city. quite a contrast.

Eric

BTW- cnn.com went down right after the US supreme court decision today. The internet is still some flaky technology.
