GZ, great topic.
At present lots of people, in particluar republicans, are beginning to think that the winner is the lesser in this competition. The best thing that either candidate might do for the country is to concede. Cool concept.

I'm not yet that jaded.

I did learn one disturbing thing from this mess. 27,000 votes were not read by machine. These votes came from black and minority communities. What none of us knew was that the one man one vote wasn't true in minority districts. This election will force many states to improve the voting systems, and will ultimately give the democrats an edge (since there are more of them).

The winner of the election will probably poison the 2002 election for their party due to backlash voting.

As you say -- let the counting begin.
