reS.I. is a water cooler
Yes, that is a good way to put it.
I've learned some bitter lessons this bear market: after this I will appreciate big wealth when I have it and put lots of it in safe places.
Interesting that you are putting money back into funds, now that you have made it.
Are you keeping any large amounts of cash in CD's or money markets or bonds, or will you take income out when you want to just from distribution from your funds?

Look at this:

businessweek.com

"Tech Wreck" on cover of magazine. That means bottom is in! (LOL)

Incidentally I can't remember who asked but you cannot buy Oak Funds on E Trade. Have not yet checked Fidelity.

Greg, Being the jaded person I am. I have to wonder if there is any connection with the incredible growth of independent online investors, the new full disclosure laws, and this years market decline. All in relation to very successful independent investors such as yourself, moving money back into mutual funds(they get their cut off the top). I know you aren't alone. Alot of talk on many boards about people inquiring about mutual funds. Something I didn't see very much of in 1999, frequently scoffed at too if you even brought up mutual funds.

Though I certainly understand your need for diversification, you know, at your age and all...heh
