There are about a dozen companies listed on the KHD web site
under quotes (in CDN$). Most Canadian electric utilities
are gov't owned and they issue bonds. The largest exporter to the US is Hydro Quebec I believe, but they are starting to cut back on exports due to growing demand in Quebec.
NB Power sells about 500 MW into New England. Ontario Power Generation has had to cut back on exports in recent years. I'm not too familiar with the rest but I assume that
BC Hydro exports into the Pacific Northwest.

A Canadian company with a wind energy focus and the experience to close the deals, Western Wind Energy (WND,V) They have wind data, land and expect to have 140MW installed within 2 yrs. Look for a signed contract by the end of the summer.
