mishedlo, The fact is that by extending the recount past the Nov. 14th date set by the Florida legislature, the FSC did write law and not interpret it. IMO Gore and/or his legal team wasted so much time in their protest that they burned up a good amount of their contest period time. If the contest period had started on the 14th or shortly after perhaps the dimple chad ect. problem could had been resolved (by who i don't know) and a hand recount done as fare as possible. No matter who ends up winning this election I hope that a few good things come out of it. One major thing that comes to mind is that no other election should be decided by holding some piece of paper up to the light to decide who that voter voted for.
