Les you just defined a Politician. I remember very well my days at the Hebrew University all the political activists and many of today Israeli politicians were below average students, later I learned that all over the world it is a similar picture. From time to time people from outside enter the political fray and are very smart and save the day, others just refuse to enter the helm of nonsense. If all politicians were much smarter we would not have the precarious international situation of today or the mistakes of yesterday. as to team choosing the US had an one and only great man in this regard and it was Ronald Reagan ....... but he knew his limitation therefore for his greatness....... not the same with the present proposed leaders.
