"CNBC showed the NAS futures up 70+ points. " Even after the decision, the futures finished up 70+ for the day, tho they had been up 200+ points for the day earlier in the afternoon. Futures don't mean much in light volume after hours, what happens on Monday is what counts.

Hey genius, I was near a computer when the Florida Supreme Court decision was announced. I was starring at a level 2 display, with Nasdaq futures charts. The futures closed at 2945, 4:00 est. While the decision was being read the futures began to tank, and within a short time went down to 2807.5. According to Cybertrader 3.004. I wasn't watching CNBC at the time, but I don't believe for a minute even they would announce that the futures were up 70+ points. Heaven forbid anyone would think I'm defending CNBC.
