Your fairness argument has been echoed by both judge Sauls and Chief Justice Wells. This is the so-called 'equal protection' or 14th Amendment argument. The Federal courts could still overturn this process based on that argument. The court in Atlanta seems to be waiting for harm to be shown - i.e. the result of the election changed.

Team Gore seems to have convinced a lot of folks that there is some fundamental truth to be found in these undercount ballots. But absent a clear, specific, state-wide standard, such truth doesn't exist. 100 people could count those 45K ballots and come up with 100 different tallies.

And let's not forget the 5000 felons who allegedly cast ballots in FL. Who do you suppose most of them voted for?

it is ironic that MOST of the fl supreme court cares about al gore's fairness issues but no george bush's. judges above politics? NO WAY!

They ordered the recount in all counties, which was one of Bush's issues, ostensibly.
