Hi Larry, I feel the same way. I would just as soon do without service if I couldn't have cable.
I dropped AOL the same day I got cable because all I needed was the frontend. I like to play a couple of online games (Unreal Tournament) and it is easy to see from the user ping rate who has a dial up and who has cable. Not that it makes much difference in the game (so they claim) but I can see some players lag and they are easy pickins. Anyway, thanks for the thoughts on the AOL/TWX merger. It will be interesting.
