Let me see now, Boise thinks we should certify after counting the rest of Miami Dade because those other area's(some of which Gore lost by the way) may not be done by 2:00pm tomorrow. What happened to count every vote. Christ I'm going to shut this frigging machine off and go vomit!

. I am just so pissed off by all of this that I probably don't even think straight anymore. I want this crap over! I'm tired of every weekend spent wondering how bad the gap down Monday morning will be. I know just stay cash...

It's all a matter of perspective; I think the whole mess is a grand historic event and the more messy it gets, the more historic. Should give a few stories to tell the great-grandkids. If only something happened that would result in Federal troops storming the Fl legislature and the national guard[s] storming Wash DC...wouldn't that be grand!

Re: Cash or not. I suppose it depends greatly on your investment style. I tend to go short term, few days to a few months. I was mostly cash in Oct and part of Nov, just doing some intraday trades and then went 90% in later in Nov...obviously a tad too early, but my bet is that we'll have either a nice Xmas rally and or a very nice January effect.

but a lot of stocks I follow and the Naz were looking pretty healthy

Maybe the stocks you had looked healthy, but the NAZ started looking sick last spring; even with this correction the NAZ still has a more than healthy valuation. I think the average PE is still over 100.
