We do have much common ground. I find your statement about trusting the courts, jaded or otherwise, to be a bit funny.

In the end I have never wanted anything but fairness. I could have totally accepted Gore had he won on Nov 7. His quest at all costs concerns me greatly.

I also think that standards, or the lack of, is a major issue in determining if anything can be fair.
