Frank: Now that the U.S. Supreme Court has stopped the legal recount in Florida, the election appears to be over. I would hope, however, that Al Gore never concedes. Why? Because he not only won the popular vote in the United States of America, he also won the popular vote in the state of Florida. The Republicans, led by the brother of the GOP presidential candidate, D-Dubya-I's campaign manager (who also masqueraded as secretary of state) and strong-arm gangs of thugs, stole the election by playing "stall ball" in Florida, intimidating both minority voters and those recounting the ballots, and obfuscating the truth.

What goes around comes around.

One positive benefit of this whole mess is that the Republican tactics have enraged the "silent majority" ... and I'm referring to those who pulled the lever for Gore on Nov. 7.

What goes around comes around.

Enjoy your Pyrrhic victory.
