FL-SC thumbed their nose at the US-SC in not explaining their first action. They next do the same thing in yesterdays ruling. Remember that the chief justice wrote a strongly worded opinion warning the other justices that their action would not stand up in front of the US-SC. As far as dates go your guess is as good as mine. They seem to change depending on who you listen to. They may still count the votes the way this keeps changing.

Zeev - Believe it or not a stock question. I know these are not stocks you follow but the question is a general one (I think) although I will mention some specific companies. Financial stocks: They seem to have been a haven these past few years - going up and up and up. PE's are still low, but is there some economic event next year (like a recession, bad loans, etc) that will likely cause these to fall significantly. I will list a few as the charts seem similar. C - Citigroup JPM - JP morgan MBI - MBIA Inc MER - Merrill Lynch AXP - American Express many of these are up 500% since 97 Are they topping? Some bears are suggesting these may be good PUT candidates for next year, in expectation of economic hard times next year. How is this group affected by a hard recession Any thoughts specifically, or in general on this group. If you do not have time to reasearch this I understand. M
