You are correct. No scooters at my house. It is hard when the little one looks up and says "But dad, you ride a motorcycle and why is that any less dangerous" and then she runs to my girlfriend (the stubborn wench) and says "dad is a hypocrite"

Did you see thetruthseeker.com must be dead now. Perhaps the Tyson drama is over with at least for now.

By the way, I don't think forking over cash for a diamond would work. She requires more creativity and perseverance ;-)...but the pay off is always worth it...well most of the time. HA!

Remember the prediction??? Up to the Supreme Court AGAIN. One of the most interesting trauma dramas in your recent history. Matt Drudge is talking about how the Nasdaq futures are maxed out tonight but he forgets to tell they majorily tanked after 4.00

I would say you have a stubborn wench in your life after looking at your profile. Sprinkle rose petals in her bath water,
light up the candles, put on that Barry White music, whisper sultry words in her ear with a foreign accent and you might get
your way with her...

After what my girlfriend pulled off today I decided to do something similiar to that a little later tonight. Thanks for the idea.

Let me tell you a story that represents why retailers are in financial trouble.

She knew that Office Depot would put their DVDs on sale officially today for 50% off. Some started their sale earlier in the week while other managers claimed to know nothing about it. Maybe the customers know before the managers due to the power of the internet ;-)

She
also knows that they are going to go 75% off probably before the end of the year and likely next week. OD will price adjust
but some stores are saying 7 days and some are saying 14 days so she wanted to wait until they went 50% off to give her the
most time to grab the 75% off.

But she didn't stop there. She had a 10 off 50 coupon. So she rang up her DVDs in 50 -60 dollar original sales price increments
so that she could use the coupons and talked them into applying the 10 AFTER they did the 50% off coupon code to save
the most money. So it goes 50 X 50% -10.00.

I left the store literally laughing at what she talked them into doing and swearing that I was not going to buy any Office Depot
stock.

It gets better, though. OD's selection is not near the same as Best Buy. She then went to Best Buy and put some of the same
titles in her cart and went to the check out and asked to price match. They sent her to customer service. Now she was
expecting that they would only give her the same titles and that it would be the same equivalent price.
But as she was talking she could see that she was going to get whatever she wanted..so she says..wait..I think I want the new
Sopranos DVD collection and she went to a display that was near the register. She gets that while he is calling Office Depot
to verify that all DVDs are 50% off.

After she saw how easy it was...she filled her cart with DVDs of ALL kinds. She got all kinds of childrens DVDs that she is
going to donate... and different kinds to give away as Christmas presents. She was calling her friends on her cell phone in the
middle of the DVD aisle and taking orders.

She went back to the same guy and he gave them to her at 50% off without batting an eye.

How many people are going to get away with this? I don't know what their mark up is but I can just see an influx of people
going to Best Buy wanting that 50% off. Fifty percent off DVDs they already have on sale is going to throw the Best Buy Manager into a coughing fit. I can see a memo going out to everyone this week saying NO WAY WILL YOU PRICE MATCH OD and just wait until Office Depot goes 75% off. My friends are placing bets as to whether she can pull that one off anywhere else.

Now you know why I keep her :-))) Rain, sleet, snow will not deter her from getting those deals ....LOL
