Jesse Jackson is also a power whore. He doesn't want to assist in leading the blacks out of poverty and dependency because by doing so he would lose his power and control. He perpetuates the sad blight of dependency and failure to face the reality of life. Before facing the reality and accepting it we cannot change it. Once accepted, we can evaluate and choose to make things different. But, without acceptance, we are refusing to recognize reality.

Jesse Jackson does a great disservice to the people he purports to represent. Every time he steps in front of the cameras (his favorite place) he widens the chasm. I have many black friends who are disgusted with his antics...he does not represent them in any form or fashion. They are sick of his "free ride".

Nadine, With all due respect, if you really believe that, you have been watching Conspiracy Theory or JFK a little too much. State Police roadblocks? Closing and moving polling places? I am sure that none of those things would have been recorded or even videotaped a la Rodney King. If any of those things really did happen, undeniable proof would have been in the hands of the media on December 8 at the latest, broadcast for the world to see. Saw lots of stuff right away about the Butterfly ballot, and then the double-votes. No roadblocks, though. Excuses, lawsuits, and selfishness manifested in a general shirking of personal and group responsibility is making a mockery of the far left and people like Jesse Jackson, and people who actually believe him like you. And Nadine, despite the horrible things you think have occurred, keep in mind that God is watching over all of us. He does not discriminate. G
