Actually, Gore/Boies/Daley have repeatedly said that the Florida Supreme Court should be the final arbiter of this election. Gee, I wonder why? Couldn't have anything to do with 7 Democratic appointees on that court. Nahh..

PK: It's not a question of "ruling my way." Never has been. I have never, never, never held that opinion. It's a question of legitimacy ... of conducting an election legitimately ... with honor and respect for all voters and all votes.

We don't elect presidents anymore by having paid political hacks decide the presidency for us. It used to work that way in America, at the beginning of the 19th century, when only white land-owning males got to vote. But it shouldn't work this way anymore.

Count 'em all. That's been my mantra since Nov. 8. If Gore loses, he loses. Fine. I'll wait for my big GWB tax refund and tune in to Saturday Night Live every week. But count 'em all. Surely ... surely ... all Republicans can see the difference between electing a president legitimately (counting 'em all) and illegitimately (sending the legislature's Repubabubba electors to D.C. or having DeLay decide it in the House). But I'm not so sure. I think there's so much Clinton hate that the Repubs want to win at any cost ... any cost ... so that DeLay can put into effect his agenda of revenge.

Re: Boies. He's a hired gun. A paid legal eagle. It's his job to criticize the USSC. I don't care what he says.
