Good things to be partial to...but I am not partial to beautiful women. However if you put the word money next to men...I'm partial to that ;-)

Hi Voltageous,

You know I was kidding...... I loved the visual you created..... would make for a great Saturday Night skit :-
Couldn't agree more about folks not wanting to admit they are partial. Never understood why it's so important for folks to deny their partiality...... if you can come to terms with this reality, you may be more able to make objective decisions....... perhaps see you own foibles more easily.....

Hey Volts:

Well, I am partial to your list and being a beautiful woman, I will substitute that part with wickedly funny men.

Cold here??? Well, we have snow and yes, it IS cold here. Of course, we have remedies for that ....

Have a good weekend.

I wish I could just hear one politician, one attorney or one campaign manager say: The reason I am saying this is because I'm partial and partisan.

If you go back to the morning after election (voting) day. Look at James Baker's press statement. He urged Gore not to go into Fla. with lawyers and drag this into the courts. For the country's good, do not drag this into the courts. He said we don't want to send lawyers there for the good of the country. If you (Gore) don't keep your lawyers out. We will then be forced to go in there with lawyers and unfortunately look out for our own interests only.
That is about as close as I think you'll get. You can bet that everything the Bush lawyers are doing in Fla. are for Bush's interests and not the interests of the country. At least the Republicans have been honest with you. No Republican has lied to you in a claim that their fight in the courts is "for the good of the country."

BTW: Little did Mr.Baker know that when he was making that statement, that Gore already had dozens of lawyers in Fla. (who had traveled there in the middle of the night), and hundreds traveling there.

Gosh you have good taste!! the only thing I would change obviously is beautiful women, to men, and would add elegant wine to that list and life is perfect.

p.s a delayed thank you for your comments on Rambus.
p.p.s I wasn't allowed to vote as considered a "legal alien"
charming phrase!! however, I am more passionate about this election than 99% of the Americans I have been in contact with over the last five weeks. Believe to this day if Gore had any class he would have stepped down the day after the election. Just my humble opinion.
