I'm surprised myself (lethargic as I am - "nothing changes under this sun" etc - see my favourite sayings etc), how the election issue is going down the road of maximum damage. Give me a week and I'll start worrying about the coffer with red codes and buttons - remember how concerned the world was over the mental and health condition of Comrade Boris? -.

The daily hibby-jibies cant hide away the fact
a) we're in a clear bear market
b) ...substantiated by declining EPS, although
c) ...the big green chief promised to write some puts down the road ("just behave, kids, and Uncle Al, the Kiddies' Pal, will extend your line of credit...")

Which (c) is the way to keep the lemmings going - just make sure the ballon say whooosh and not bang-.

Gersh: figure it out
a) Intc preannounces
b) market goes banannas on the up side

My guess: "Let the suffering be finally over" as the general mood. Looks like whistling in the woods to me. Even if your calls probably did just great.
