Clinton Considering Milken
Pardon

NEW YORK (AP) - President Clinton (news -
web sites) is considering granting
pardons to former Wall Street financier
Michael Milken and Whitewater figure
Susan McDougal before leaving office,
according to The New York Times.

The Times reported Saturday that others
Clinton is considering for pardons are
Webster Hubbell and Archie Schaffer. They
and McDougal were Clinton's associates
from Arkansas and were convicted of crimes related to
investigations of the Clinton administration.
