Gore did not follow customary and normal procedures. I'm not pretending. The law intended to count votes fairly and equitably, not that candidates would compete over possible territorial advantages- an absurdity- an Un-american absurdity.

"Both exit polls and academic statistical analysis show Gore won, Americans are constantly reminded. It’s only the counting of the actual ballots that somehow doesn’t come through for the vice president."

Customary and normal procedures? I submit that flying a team of 200 lawyers, civil rights activists, and investigators into Florida to stage phoney demonstrations, gather evidence, get affidavits, and challenge absentee ballots, and demand highly skewed, selective hand re-counts just to improperly extrapolate the results for political gain, all for the sole purpose of challenging a presidential election for the first time in 100 years, is hardly a customary or normal procedure. At least in this country. Maybe in the Balkans.
