Princeton and North Carolina won a lot of games by stalling. It wasn't against the rules and the coaches took advantage of their talent. I guess you would dislike winning a war by stalling and prefer extra bloodshed.;)

Deny it all you want but Gore could have originally asked for a recount for the whole state and would have had the issue settled without some whiny bitching 3 days later about how Bush would not agree to it. He sunk his own ship by that one "greedy" act.

The Supremes apparently know how flawed the counting system is and that the process under which it is being conducted has no basis in law. They don't want a fundamentally flawed process to produce a flawed result that needs to be overturned.
