Princeton and North Carolina won a lot of games by stalling. It wasn't against the rules and the coaches took advantage of their talent. I guess you would dislike winning a war by stalling and prefer extra bloodshed.;) Deny it all you want but Gore could have originally asked for a recount for the whole state and would have had the issue settled without some whiny bitching 3 days later about how Bush would not agree to it. He sunk his own ship by that one "greedy" act.
