You are right the post was not accurate. I received it from a friend via e-mail and posted it without seeing the book. Last night the quote was challenged and I went to Barnes and Noble and purchased the book and do agree with you the quote is not in the book. However, there is still a possible question. The first edition of the book was printed by Penguin Books. The second (the one I purchased) was printed by Plume Printing. Gore, in the foreword says there are no material changes between the two books. However, one of the posters said there were several changes made from the Penguin publication. I don't know. I have posted a couple times acknowledging it looked like I had posted in error. I apologize for the inaccurate post. Next time I will do more homework before posting.
