ispatch, Yes laterals would avoid both scouring by icebergs inthe winter and avoid disturbing the mating patterns of Grey and Wright Whales out in the Beaufort Sea.... And if a NG pipeline is built south along the TAPS route, then discovery of either oil or gas would be beneficial to our Country.... I wonder when Phillips bought ARCO's Prudhoe Bay interest, did they succeeed to all of ARCO's G&G data and their G&G people on the North Slope? You know Phillips may be undervalued as a major. We need to crunch numbers on them.....
