TP, you had no intention of respecting the USSC if they ruled against you anyway.
Do I have a choice?

I was at the rifle range today checking out my new guns and exercising my old ones. There were many loud and generally Pro-Bush speeches there (very loud when everyone is wearing ear protectors). As I checked out the Marlin and my son's new Remington .22 pump my thoughts did pass briefly on the alternatives to respecting the USSC. They aren't pretty and I really want a Supreme Court worthy of respect.

This is not a threat, Nor did I take the apparent explicit threats of some shooters to be legitimate threats. It was instead a chance to ponder what the alternatives are to elections that are free and fair. I see many posts which tout the square miles won by republicans as if it is territory won in battle. I think there are many who think that democrats, liberals, gays, and those who would adapt gun control are pushovers. A'int so.

I do have a choice, and my choice is to support the supreme court. The Supreme court's respect must be couched in the highest of ideals if it is going to last. It is my choice.
