, the circus started with the selective, skewed test hand re-counts of a few select heavily Democrat precincts, No, that is the normality. Florida law basicly says, "if you don't think the count was fair then show us some places that are unfair". Well, under the usual way of doing things Gore did, and in fact those counties showed that he would likely win. The normal next thing would be to find out from everyone who won. This was not done because of Bush's jump to federal court and stall, stall, stall. But the normal procedure is: 1) Is is possible there is a problem? 2) If possible, is it widespread? 3) count the votes. The end of every legitimate outcome of Florida procedures is to look at the ballots and see what the heck they say. TP
