If anyone can guess-within 10-the number of times Chris Mathews will change sides next week, there may be a prize in it somewhere...

LOL...actually I've noticed sort of a pattern...Chris Matthews is a Democrat...so when things were looking good for Gore, he was just as gung ho...however, when things turned negative for Gore...Matthews jumped ship faster than you could turn channels.

My guess is 15. That should give me all the

territory from 5 to 25. I know he will switch at least 5 times, and it would be difficult to do it more than 25 in one thin week.

I don't think Chris Matthews has ever changed sides. It's probably only when he's trying to sound impartial that YOU think he's changed sides.

This election will always be "tainted." No getting around it.
