Yep Baker had he strengths and his limitations. It seems like the uncounted votes are a potential liability. I have heard that it would be possible for a news organization to gain access to them through a Freedom of Information petition and count them. If the result was different than the way in which the Florida electors voted it would provide the opposition party with considerable fuel to undermine the President. Personally I prefer shrub to algore because I think he will do less and be much less inclined to control everything. I do think that the extent to which the market seems to rally on shrub and crash on gore is crazy. Realistically which ever gets to be president is not going to make that much difference.
