I never said anything about nodes. @home says they run an OC-48 from the backbone (which is dual OC-48) to every "city". Then I assume it thins out from there. Of course how you define a "city" is pretty vauge-- but I'm certain that the entire state of Hawaii (including Honolulu) would count as at least one "city"- maybe two. The fact that the bandwidth from Hawaii to the mainland focan be noticably improved by the addition of a DS3 tells me a lot about why I rarely get over 300-400k. Eric
