I'm not claiming it was intentional. But it was negligent. And intentional or not, those votes were illegal. As for legitimacy, that is in the eye of the beholder. At this point, there are plenty of folks on both sides that will not accept the winner from the opposite side no matter how he is chosen. As for hypocrisy, there is plenty on both sides. Offhand, I can only think of a couple people (Judges Burton and Lewis) who I'd say acted with integrity throughout this mess.
