Tom, there is ample material and opinions posted on SI re the voting machines of FL....Go to StockTalk Search, and insert "voting machines palm beach" ....There is MUCH information here...but among other things you will see is that all three of the original FL contested counties have voting machines made by the same small 8 employee company out of Little Rock, Arkansas; that one of the SI posters lives in Palm Beach, and the Republicans have asked for the last 8 years to have new optical scanners, but the Democrats run the Election Board, and thus far, still have used the punch type system... that these are not particularly poor counties.... and 98.1+% of the people voting using these machines in these counties got it right...
