Dan,

Right wingers become very concerned about women's rights, when they see an opportunity to use a woman as leverage into the White House.

I was touched by the all the heart felt concern for Paula Jones.

Dan,

He's just verbalizing the beliefs held by all the right wingers, though. Kenith is just a little less circumspect about stating the "women are chattels" beliefs of the conservative Republicans - and condemning those who don't "know their place."

You seem to be painting with broad brush, not only Kenith, but now all Republicans. Isn't this called prejudice? Just wait until John Fowler comes back. You will receive public spanking.

I personally have almost zero respect for one of the California senators. Go ahead, paint me with your broad brush as well.

Joe

RE: "He's just verbalizing the beliefs held by all the right wingers"

This statement is equally as bad because it is a negative sweeping generalization.

I understand the Republican Party has been against several policies for women (e.g. pro-drive-by deliveries, anti-FML, etc.), and thus, through the particular policies they decided to support (or not support) have earned a reputation for their policies being less-than-friendly towards women, particularly career women, however, it would be incorrect to generalize this negative aspect of certain influential Reps that were elected in Congress during the 106th, 105th, 104, 103, 102, 101, 100, 99, 98, 97th congressional sessions to all Republicans, or to generalize it to all of today's Rep voters, which currently consisted of 49% of the voters of this country.

Ask Clinton where he thought Monica's place should have been during their affair.

<A number of people feel that way, they're just usually a little more careful about how they say it. They all voted for Bush, of course.>

Sweeping generalizations and bigotry go hand in hand. Could you be one?
