There are lines from WY to California, but more lines towards the Midwest / Chicago. I learned this while investing in a coal bed methane deal.

Those lines to California are probably are full.

Would be very interested in a good pipeline map.
FERC have one ? USGS ?
Bet the U.S. Army has a good one.

By looking at state consumption along the pipelines it's not hard to roughly figure out what % of NM, Western WY production eventually makes it to Cali, and this should correlate with its pricing relative to NG at the Ca border. ...Unless there is something grossly wrong with this line of thinking.
