The fact that Koresh did not surrender is the reason I don't feel very strongly about the matter - but I think it was mishandled. I started all this a while back by remarking that I did not think this was the best use of tax dollars.

I wonder who is going to pay for all the workers who showed up on Saturday to count all the votes in Florida? I guess they are all government workers and will get comp time, and the counties will just absorb the extra expenses.

But when the candidate requests a recount he/she has to pay for it. This time it will be the taxpayers.
