Language from news 11/30/00 release... "...TSIG.com's CEO, Robert Gordon, has agreed to relinquish his post, step down as a director and terminate his employment relationship with TSIG.com. ..." This is and was the only mention of his "termination". Haven't heard it any other times in the "past". Moreover, per news release 12/06/00 Scott Roix, the founder of Affinity and its CEO, will take over the helm of the combined companies as Chairman and CEO of TSIG.com.
