neutral view on polarizing political disputes, only to be deeply dissapointed.


Haim, I realized how political the Supreme Court is when the Democratic party fought so hard to keep Justice Robert Bork and Justice Clarence Thomas out of it. Both are honorable men.

I am Republican, so I know you and I are on opposite sides of this. That being said, the future Supreme Court appointees are one big reason that I voted for Bush. Neither Gore nor Bush will be able to push much of their agendas thru Congress. But those appointees are very important, as witnessed even now by what is going on.

By the way, Bush Sr. was a fair man. He appointed Souter to the Supremes, who is a pretty liberal guy. I think Bush Sr. was disappointed. <g>

I want Bush to win. I greatly fear a Gore presidency.
