Speaking of rigged elections ... how many USSC justices did George Senior call on Friday afternoon ... just Scalia or all five?

Not only will we have an emasculated president, we also will have a Supreme Court of Political Hacks now.

Hell, people are going to be fleeing America for Cuba now!

I think in the end, the Repubs always knew they'd have these five trump cards on the high court. I think this scenario was one that was discussed as early as October by the Bush managers.

Sad for America, but good for the Democratic Party.

"Bring in the Swiss. In future if there are to be any recounts than it should be done by a neutral person who passes a lie detector test."

Ron...as we have learned from the holocaust debacle in Switzerland, the Swiss are anything but neutral and are some of the most racist people I have met...having lived there for a few years on assignment, you may even end up with a Swiss president if they are given decision making powers!...as much as I enjoyed my times there, the German side of Switzerland (Zurich) have a mindset very similar to their German neighbors (although they will deny this to the max)...furthermore, if you think this country lives and dies by the Constitution and a book of rules, you should see the Swiss...they LOVE rules!, and each and every citizen feels empowered to enforce them.
