Hi guys..just back from San Antonio at a meeting with about 3000 breast specialists (somebody has to do it!)from around the world...I have to tell you..at 4pm on Fri...ALL of us were absolutely stunned by this incredible flsc decision....both Democrats and repubs among us..the feeling among ALL of us was that thankfully this was about to end and the country could move on....the repub docs were absolutely livid..present company included, when the out-of-control flsc put the kabosh on it...Floridians continue to be the recipients of many jokes at the meetings...and the foreign docs....almost to a tee...couldn't believe how incredibly messy this thing had become....generally quite an embarrassing affair to have to explain all this to the Europeans, who can't believe we don't know how to vote in the 21st century...well, back into the fray tomorrow...hope all you demolibs are holding up ok...and fellow repubs..our day is coming....see ya

Dave, would you say the same thing if the FL legislature picks the electors. Which the law makes very clear is their power to do so?

Even if the subjective hand counts had been finished and put Gore in the lead. Using their power to pick the electors over riding the courts judgement. In effect saying the courts had writen law and that was not what they intended to happen in a hand count?
