Dave, I didn`t vote for either one of them. I voted for Brown. So Bush is not my guy. I thought both the Democrates and the Republican parties could have both put up better canidates. So my vote was a protest against the good old boys politics of both parties.

I see Bush as much less dangerous to to this country than Gore now.

Gore has lied and twisted, Put pressure on local canvassing boards to count votes for him. That they were counting as no votes.

His lawyer filed a lie to the USSC as evidence.

Before this election contest I had a much higher regard for him and the Democratic party.

Now they make me sick.

So could you answer my question? Would you respect the FL legislatures right to pick they electors in this close election? That will NEVER be decided to the extent of both the Democratic and Republican parties being happy with the outcome in the courts.

Regardless of the legality of the Florida Legislature picking the electors, I agree that it is a bad idea. It, like challenging an election in the courts, can lead to setting a bad precedent.

It appears that the USSC will save us from this eventuality.
