Jim- Thanks for that article. Looks like we'll be needing to read up more on Tauzin as Kennard appears to be on the way out.

If I understand his statement above, I take it to mean 'hands off the twisted pair' just like it's 'hands off the cable and wireless pipe.' IMHO, that would be the best solution to really get the broadband game rolling.

Oh I see I read it wrong. He was saying wireless and cable can do local and long distance with no restrictions. So he believes the incumbents should too? I haven't thought about that too much.

I wish he was reffering to the "forced access' issue. IMO that's the real holdup to the broadband game. -MikeM(From Florida)
