Hey Lieseeker, the organization you refer to has only been around since December 15, 1998 (Initial announcement of SDMI formation), not even two years. Whereas, they do have an impressive list of participants, they have no record of performance as of yet.

You'll note YOUR SUNNCOM Inc. is not on the list either. What's up with that!!!

NOW DON"T YOU LOOK STUPID!! What is it with you? You set standards and then fail to hold others you tout to that same standard! You have no class.

Maybe one day TTRE will join, but then again, I would rather have TTRE spend the current required $20,000 annual participation fee SDMI charges, which by the way is shareholder money, on marketing and R&D versus joining some new organization without a track record, and only lofty goals.

Finally, this organization would be enhanced by TTRE's technology for they could then help the industry feel secure that their copyrighted material will be protected from pirating. If this is true, what benefit, would TTRE derive from such an organization, other than additional exposure?

However, since the recording industry is all but controlled by 5 companies, once one sees that TTRE works, then all will follow, or risk losing their artists to a competitor who can protect the artists intellectual property and block future pirating of copyrighted material.

Are you understanding this or Is this going over your SHORT HEAD?

You are right .TTRE was involved a few years ago in SDMI but have not been involved more recently as it is involved in futuristic technology and dominated by the big boys IBM,Toshiba etc.

In any event it is not going anywhere fast .
