...and a recount of all those previously hand-counted ballots that have been tallied (or not tallied) into the certified count.

As a Bush supporter, I'm not happy with the way this appears to be ending. I'd like to see a manual recount of the Florida votes with a standard enforced. Since it doesn't appear that Florida has ever considered "dimpled" chads prior to Nov. 7, 2000, I think the recount standard should not consider them. The recount should consider perforations to count as a legitimate vote. This would require a recount of Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and all other counties that recounted using other standards.

I agree with you. The problem is Al Gore doesn't agree with you. I wonder if lawdog agrees with you.

Dear Tommy: That wont work, we already have had a minimum of two of those type recounts statewide. I just want this over tomorrow. I hope the Supreme Court comes down so hard on the FSC their teeth rattle. This court has gotten totally out of hand down here. I think they are part of the problem and not the solution. The USSC has got to resolve this once and for all and not send it back to the FSC otherwise our Fla. State Legislature is going to take action and even though I am for Bush, even I would hope that is not necessary. JDN
