ben, doesn't gridlock sound comforting? it does to me. ;-) hey, let's let this mess run its course. i bet that we all learn a lot (some stuff we may not want to know! ;-) i wish a statewide hand recount with a consistent standard decided florida, but the time for that has probably passed. neither president will be effective, imho. bush will give us moderate w/ a little to the right and gore will give us moderate w/ a little to the left. congress will kick and scream bloody murder the whole way. my only REAL concern is that bush appoints right winger, control freaks to the court. if he does, then this election fiasco will look like small potatoes! rightfully so.
