Tom,

It is somewhat unfair to say PhD's represent the educated, rather they represent the "Elite", and have a much more liberal bias than persons holding undergraduate or masters degrees.

Say what you like about CMB's views, but they are factual.

Tom, I think McCain would have won big time as he would have had the support of most Republicans and many Democrats. It says something about our system that the most popular candidate did not survive the primaries, in fact the 3rd most popular candidate will be President.

I should not have come down so hard on CMB, but I was around during the 1960's civil rights movement and heard these same arguments over and over being used as reasons that minorities should not have certain rights and it triggered old memories of state troopers and firehoses.....
