Mr. Commodity Futures guy (me) corrects some misinformation.

There is NO Globex trading of ANYTHING on Friday afternoons.

(See : cme.com to confirm this). (Confirm it for equity index futures trading, although ... it is true for all futures contracts traded on Globex).

The NASDAQ futures (right now) trading bidding limit up (9500, or 95.00 on the index) is a very large move.

Without even checking, I am certain that the futures did NOT close at a huge discount to cash on Friday.

If they had, we would all be talking about the once in a lifetime event that caused it.

Jon.
