bosco,

Other than judge burton from palm beach canvassing board, noone has even tried to explain what criteria is used to 'count' ballots.

It's very simple, don't hide behind nebulous language like : 'voter intent' which gives a wide array of freedom to do anything you want.

Be exact, like judge burton, and describe in less than 200 words, what the criteria is, and then people can draw their own conclusions, and then many more people will even support the full recount. Machines are objective --- their behaviour can be explained by an algorithm, humans are not.

I'm actually curious who actually 'won' your election, but then depending on how they are counted, it could be either guy.

It seems to me (cnn junkie that I am) that initially the GOP team were mostly unhappy and muttering about 'thieves' but they (well, most of them) generally went along with the recount in both broward and west palm beach. They started screaming murder when when broward changed their criteria of counting (in the middle) and started counting even single dimples, while west palm beach did not.

Why worry about all this? Even if bush were to prevail (and it is not a certainty, yet). My guess is that in four years, another Clinton will beat Bush to the white house again. Hilary must be honing her skills in the senate now, waiting for the inevitable call to serve her nation. I hope she gets better speechwriters.
