Will you please tell me the Democrats, with statute like that of Sec Baker and Congressman DeLay, who have called SoS Harris a "political hack." Granted, I am not surprised a lot of partisans did so, and there is no excuse. Attacking her is wrong, plain and simple. For an infantryman to break any code of conduct, s/he deserves to be thrown in the brink. However, if the generals are leading the charge, the whole army is tainted! I'd like you to cite the generals in the Democrat camp to make such outrageous remarks like Sec Baker and Congressman DeLay. Also, I think VP Gore has uneaquvocally stated that he believes in Electoral College. As I ve stated in my last post, I am not his defender; however, I think it is a traversity to put [wrong] words in his mouth! Should the butterfly ballot be *attacked*? First, I don't know how someone can attack the butterfly ballot. Choke it? Slab it? <VBG> I was watching the news yesterday [forgot which one of the three networks.] It told of a story that the sample ballot sent to the voters beforehand was not the same as the one at the polling place. It was about the "vote every page" ballot. Obviously, this should be correct. If remedy cannot be applied this time, it should still be the front page news so error won't be repeated. However, based on his argument, people should keep silent. Maybe this is not what you intended, but it appears that you prefer the status quo. Does that mean you don't like people attacking civil right issues in the 60s? Is it better to keep the literal requirement that only literated male landowners be allowed to vote. Curious best, Bosco
