Monty

I find both of the major parties to be corrupted. They look more and more the same to me.

What I find lacking in both parties is real "statesman".
People who would vote for what's best for the country rather than pork barrel politics for their state or congressional district.

I consider myself an independent voter not aligned with either party. So while my wealth has increased greatly the last ten years I also want to see every ones wealth increase. But not by redistrubution.

Regarding the election. The U.S. Constitution is working although there are a lot of people trying to circumvent the process. In the end it will work. I don't know who will end up President until sometime in early January. It's a great history lesson for my daughter though.

The U.S. will survive. That sure can't be said for a lot of the world however. Our "Great Experiment" goes on!
